18-year-old blue roan Quarter Horse gelding from Blue Valentine bloodlines. He’s a nice, seasoned horse with a lot of experience and would make an excellent all-around family horse.
He does great in the arena, is enjoyable to ride, and has a really nice, smooth lope. He’s also been ridden extensively outside of the arena and has experience trail riding, hunting, and packing. He’s the kind of horse that can be used for a little bit of everything and has plenty of miles under his belt.
He does have a couple of quirks that I want to be upfront about. He doesn’t do well in straight-load trailers and is much better suited to a slant-load or stock-style trailer. He also doesn’t enjoy the busy show atmosphere and is much happier riding at home, on the trail, or in a more relaxed setting.
At 18, he’s a seasoned gelding with lots of experience and still plenty to offer. I think he would be a great fit for a family looking for a versatile horse to ride and enjoy.
