The Head Light Joy is a an awesome entry level ski for a skier that is looking to get comfortable out on the slopes. The Ski is 73mm underfoot so it is comfortable skiing groomers and letting you understand trails and get the sport down. The nice wide shovel in the tips cuts through variable snow and deeper snow as you cut into a turn.
