ApplePayTHE LAST TWO — AND MAYBE THE LUCKIEST TWO.
MeetRip and Cody, the final two boys from our Mountain Pointer litters.
They are beautiful brown pups with slightly longer coats, white socks and striking white blazes on their noses. They're about four months old now — and something unexpected happened while we were finding homes for their brothers and sisters:
Rip and Cody got a head start on becoming family dogs.
With only two puppies left, they've moved out of the puppy room and into our home.
They go for walks on collars and leashes. They play loose in the house. They nap in their kennels — and sometimes walk into them on their own. They're making great progress on potty training.
Carrie has been working with them individually, and both are already learningsit, lay down and roll over.
And at night?
They climb onto our laps while we watch TV. Last night, both fell asleep there for hours.
These aren't two leftover puppies waiting in a pen.
They're two young dogs learning how to live with a family.
Rip and Cody areMountain Pointers— our cross between a German Shorthaired Pointer and Bernese Mountain Dog. They're smart, affectionate, playful, athletic and remarkably people-oriented.
They've received their age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, with rabies being the remaining vaccination. Each puppy goes home with hiskennel, collar, leash and Wyoming Outlaw Kennel Club keepsake paperwork and health record.
$900 each.
And if you're wondering why two beautiful puppies are still available from a litter that produced so many wonderful dogs, there's no mystery.
When puppies are this similar, somebody has to be chosen first and somebody last. Some of the pups we thought would go immediately — including Tank and Maverick — were among the later ones chosen.
Rip has actually been Carrie's favorite from the beginning.
Nothing is “wrong” with these boys.
Quite the opposite.
They simply got something most puppies don't:
a few extra weeks with us.
Now they're ready for the families they've been practicing for.
Rip & Cody — two males available
$900 each, including kennel, collar, leash, vaccinations/deworming and records.
Serious homes only. Tell us a little about your family, where you live, and the kind of life you see your new dog sharing with you.
