GooglePayVintage H-811B horn, a substantial old-school cast horn ready for a new driver and restoration. This is being sold as the horn only — no compression driver included. These large vintage horns have become popular with DIY and vintage-audio enthusiasts who restore them, repaint them and pair them with the driver of their choice. They also make fantastic exposed display horns sitting on top of a cabinet, especially refinished in a contrasting color. PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: There are several chips along the lower outer lip, clearly shown in the photos. I consulted knowledgeable vintage-audio people specifically about this damage, and the consensus was that it is cosmetic/repairable rather than performance-critical. The acoustic work happens back at the throat and through the horn geometry; the damaged area is at the outer lip. The suggested repair is JB Weld/epoxy, shaping and sanding before refinishing. The horn itself is impressively large, heavy and very cool industrial audio hardware. Molded H-811B HORN identification is still visible. Perfect candidate for someone building a vintage horn system, restoring an existing speaker, experimenting with compression drivers, or creating an exposed-horn setup. Sold as pictured, unrestored, with the lip damage disclosed. Pick up Salt Lake City Yalecrest
