Hi! I may be named Frito, but I'm more sweet than salty! I'm a 2-year-old pit bull weighing 52 pounds, and I'm a gentle, affectionate guy who loves being close to my people. I can be a little reserved when we first meet, but with a little patience, a few tasty treats, and some kind words, my personality quickly shines through. Before long, I'll be zooming around the yard, asking for hugs, soaking up chin scratches and belly rubs, and showing off my "shake" command. Volunteers describe me as calm, well-mannered, easygoing, and an all-around lovable boy who enjoys staying close to the people he trusts. I also do well with other friendly dogs in moderate-energy playgroups, where I enjoy socializing while keeping things balanced and polite. Whether we're out exploring or relaxing at home, I'm happiest by your side, and I'm ready to be the loyal companion you've been looking for.
