Meet Rosko Rosko is a handsome 4-year-old Border Collie mix (born August 12, 2022) with a brilliant mind and a loyal heart. He is neutered, up-to-date on rabies vaccination, and ready for a fresh start in the right home.

This boy is the perfect blend of energy and calm. He loves to run, play fetch, and even enjoys time on a treadmill, but he also knows how to settle and relax when asked. Rosko thrives on learning, loves to bond deeply with his people, and is incredibly intelligent and eager to please. Rosko has primarily lived outdoors, but he truly deserves a home where he can be part of the family indoors. He will do best with an experienced, responsible owner who can provide structure, guidance, and consistency. Rosko is a true sweetheart who loves snuggling and giving kisses. He’s happiest when he’s close to his family, sharing love and attention.

Important Notes: Rosko was involved in two very minor bite incidents with delivery persons while left unattended outside. The injurys were very minimal both times; however, because of this, he will need a home that can responsibly manage his environment. He must be supervised around strangers and kept in a secure setting (indoors or in a safely fenced yard).

He has a few broken teeth that may need veterinary attention in the future.

He is only up to date on his rabies vaccine so a full vaccination schedule will be needed for his health and safety.

Ideal Home: • Experienced dog owner • Secure, fenced yard • Plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation • A structured, patient, and loving environment • Ability to provide proper nutrition and care Rosko may do well with children once he is comfortable, but introductions should be handled carefully. A meet-and-greet will be required to ensure the right fit. This is a permanent rehoming, and finding the right, committed home is incredibly important.

Rosko is deeply loved, and this decision has not been made lightly. He needs someone experiencd and responsible. And a home that understands him and meets his needs, he has all the potential to be an absolutely wonderful companion.
