My children impulsively brought home a pet rat from the pet store ( yes. They really sold two children a rat, they told them it was for our snake, yippee) we made a deal that they had to work hard and take good care of this little guy to make up for their nonsense. We really should've just taken him right back then and there, but I had pet rats growing up and am too much of a softy. Well, im paying for that choice now. The kids dont play with or hold him now that the novelty has worn off. They aren't cleaning his cage as often as they should and im tired of the stink and want the little guy to be loved like he deserves. Hes incredibly sweet and well mannered, and about a year old. He would come with his nice 4 story cage. Just hoping someone is willing to fix our mistake and give him a good life. WILL NOT LET HIM BE A FEEDER.
