PayPalI’m the original owner of these Vandersteen Model 5’s. They have been a joy to listen to.
Because I love this model design so much, I recently purchased a newer pair of Model 5A Carbons and was frankly surprised at how littleimprovement there was. With this in mind, I can’t imagine how you could buy anything that sounds better at my asking price.
I’ve rated their condition as fair because of age, but they rate in sound quality as EXCELLENT!
Included with the speakers are a pair of external single-ended M5 HP crossovers that are to be connected between the preamp and amplifier.
Shipping weight is around 500 pounds, and they are shipped on a pallet in double boxes that are about 5 feet high, so depending upon where you live, the cost of shipping could be upwards of $2000. Shipping is at the buyer’s expense. Local pick up in American Fork, Utah, would be welcome.
