VenmoHammer is a quarter horse type grade gelding that has been on the ranch for several years. During this time, he has been used for all aspects of cattle work, hunting, and team roping. He stands 15.3 hands tall and weighs over 1,200 pounds. He stands well to shoe and saddle, and we estimate his age to be 11–12 years.
When Hammer arrived, he had scarring on both lower hind legs and his right shoulder, likely from a fence incident when he was younger. However, during his time with us, we have had no issues with lameness despite hard use. He has a nice walk and lope, neck reins well, and has a reliable stop.
