VenmoI absolutely LOVE this bike! This is my first Di2 bike and it is very addicting. Very smooth ride and shifting.
<100 miles on it over a handful of rides. Looks and feels like the first ride.
Selling to get the XL size. I’m 6’ ½” and have been riding a 56cm rim bike, so L makes sense, but my old bike has an offset seatpost, and I like my seat a bit more setback than normal. I didn’t realize these modern designs use 0 offset seatposts. I’m about 10mm-15mm off from this being a perfect fit, XL should do the trick.
I bought this in July from an out-of-state bike shop (very hard to find in stock). Paid $3050 for bike and shipping. (It would have been $3100 if I’d bought it in-state, after sales tax.) I’ve put $350 of upgrades into it - Conti GP5000 tires, TPU tubes, 11-36 cassette for 1:1 gearing on climbs, matching bottle cages (it only comes with one?!), and a Selle Italia Model X Comfort+ saddle (can go hours on that seat, put it on all my bikes).
Love the aero design paired with relaxed/comfortable frame, integrated handlebars, carbon wheelset, disc brakes, integrated power meter and Apple find my device feature. They really pack a ton of features into this price point.
Don’t wait for one to come in stock. Save $450 on sales tax and the upgrades.
By the way, this made me faster (or less power output required for similar speed). I set a bunch of PRs on one of my regular routes first time out, and I wasn’t gunning it. Good power transfer as well, hit PRs on short sprint tests.
I took it on a 3 mile straightaway test against my Giant TCR rim brake bike, riding the same position on both with 200W target power. The RS7 is about 20 seconds faster over the ~8.5min stretch. I’ve been on one group ride with it and pulling out front at 25mph was MUCH easier than my old bike. I’m a believer! See the screenshot from AI power comparison.
You can also take the original tires, tubes, accessories box, and saddle.
Selling without the pedals. $100 more if you want those included.
