Bama — 2-Year-Old Gelding

Bama is a 2-year-old gelding with a great mind, sweet personality, and a lot of potential.

We purchased him as a weanling from the AQHA Hall of Famer Raymond Sutton Ranch in South Dakota. He is cow-bred and should have plenty of ability and speed. His sire is just getting a good start in the AQHA world, and his bottom side goes back to the famous 6666 Ranch.

Bama was never really planned to be for sale, but life gets in the way sometimes. We've been busy building a house this summer and haven't had the time to get him started the way we wanted.

He has not been formally started, but he has had plenty of good exposure for his age. We take him along on trail rides where he packs grain and other supplies. He's been on overnight trips, loads in the trailer easily, and is always happy to tag along.

He is easy to handle, gets trimmed right along with the other horses, and is good to saddle. We've climbed on him while we're out and about, and he just stands there. He's quiet, sensible, and takes things in stride.

We also have friends who own siblings to Bama and they can't say enough good things about theirs.

Bama is smart, willing, and athletic and should make someone a really nice using horse with the right start. He's a young horse with good breeding, a good mind, and a lot of potential.

Definitely one we hate to see go, but sometimes things just work out that way.
