VenmoConcept2 RowErg with PM5 monitor. Standard 14" seat height. Built April 2021; this one was made right when Concept2 renamed the Model D to the RowErg, so it's listed under both names. This same rower is on sale now for almost $200 more plus shipping/tax.
Good for someone starting from zero and still challenging years later. Selling because we need the space.
Lifetime meters: 194,179**.** That's low for a five-year-old machine — roughly 36k a year. These are built to go into the millions. Photo of the monitor screen included so you can see the number yourself.
Some good reasons people in this valley buy one of these:
Red air days. When the inversion settles in and the air turns brown for three weeks, outdoor cardio is off the table. A rower gives you a full-body aerobic workout in your basement with the windows shut. Same problem in summer when the smoke rolls in.
Ski season. Rowing hammers quads, glutes, and hamstrings without pounding your knees, and builds the aerobic base that keeps your legs under you on the last run of the day. Start in October and you'll notice it in December.
Why the Concept2 specifically: no subscription, no app required, nothing to log into. The PM5 shows split, distance, watts, and stroke rate straight out of the box. It also pairs over Bluetooth with the free ErgData app if you want to track workouts, but that's optional and free. This is the machine CrossFit and HYROX use for scored events, and the one every rowing program in the country trains on.
Everything works great as it should. Separates into two pieces in seconds, no tools needed. Fits in a small crossover SUV. One person can do it / move it. Thanks for considering.
