For sale is a numbers matching 68 302 engine with 289 heads (Jan. 30, 1968 date). The majority of C-code 289 Mustangs possessed 302 blocks with 289 heads which is what’s seen here. Engine was rebuilt and bored 0.30 over at some point, needs resealed and can be run. Heads have been cleaned and the Autolite 2100 carburetor was professionally rebuilt by Boise Carburetor. I’ve been saving this for a 68 mustang for quite some time but decided to go in another direction. I do have some extra gaskets and goodies I can throw in with the purchase.
