Here’s what she says about the bike: “I bought this trike on the internet in the Fall of 2022 when I was restricted from driving for a year. It was delivered to me in the Spring of 2023. My biggest concern about a trike was the ability to get back up the hill to my home on 11th ave. This trike was the best one for that. At the time I bought it I was a bit above the lower limit for the recommended height and weight .
During the winter of 2022-2023 my Parkinsons got worse and I lost a lot of weight, falling below the weight recommendation. In fact it felt too big for me. I had hoped that my physical status would improve, but it didn't. It has been used fewer than 10 times.
I paid about $3,000 for it. I also purchased the front and back baskets,
My friend who is an engineer for Santa Cruz Bicycles checked out the battery it comes with and has reassured me that it is a safe one.”
