We’re opening the doors Thursday at 10:00 AM and running through Sunday, giving you four days over Labor Day Weekend to shop this over-the-top estate sale. Quite frankly, we need every one of them.
If you knew our friend and colleague Layne Jones, you know. If you didn’t, study the pictures and you’ll quickly get a sense of his passion for beautiful, unusual, and interesting things. Layne collected, entertained and surrounded himself with things he loved—and there is an extraordinary amount to discover.
Expect crystal and silver, art, furniture, books, music, men’s clothing, rugs, china, collectibles and a full garage. Chandeliers and lamps? Of course. There are restaurant and entertaining supplies, fabric, household goods, tools and plenty of things that don’t fit neatly into any category.
And then there’s the pool table, a 1992 Ford F-150 that runs great, and a huge collection of Christopher Radko Christmas ornaments.
The photographs tell the story better than we can. This house is packed, and we have spent two weeks getting it ready for you.
