If someone is looking for very cheap feeder hay to feed to their cows on the ground this winter this could be it.

You wouldn’t want to place the hay higher in a Feeder since as the animals reach for a bite the foxtail could fall into their eyeducts and you’d have to help them get it out.

I’m told if you feed it on the ground then it’s not really an issue, just don’t want to feed it above ground where the foxtail could fall into their eyes.

Provide full disclosure to let folks know the quality.

If you can manage that then $2/bale for decent to heavy sized bales is a steal of a deal these days.
