1914 antique steel electric toaster Marion Giant Flipflop toaster. Model 66, Volts 110, Watts 550. Made by Rutenber Electric Co of Marion, Indiana.

As the name of this toaster suggests, the "Marion Giant Flipflop" toasted one side of each slice of bread at a time. When done on one side, one flipflopped the bread to toast the second side. The toaster toasted two slices at a time.

The product slogan was, "Make toast your breakfast food."

The cord is detachable so the toaster can be used without electricity by putting it on a wood-fired stove.
