With the KSL Classifieds app, we’ll let you know when the one you're waiting for happens, as soon as it happens. You won’t miss out on the score of a lifetime, and your neighbors will call you a shopping guru. Nice. 

Enable notifications, and we’ll alert you when:

• New listings are added in your Saved Search

• The price drops on your Favorite listings

• A Favorite listing is about to expire

• You have a message

How to enable notifications

When you download the KSL Classifieds app, you’ll be prompted to allow notifications. If you already have the KSL Classifieds app, check that you have notifications turned on.

1. Open phone Settings, then Apps.

2. Tap KSL Classifieds.

3. Toggle Notifications.

Saved searches

When you want a lime green dresser for $50 or less, create a Saved Search and we’ll be on the lookout for you. Need a chandelier for $100? We’re on it. You could call KSL Classifieds your personal shopper. Or best friend. Or both. To save a search:

1. From the home screen, tap on the hamburger menu.

2. Tap Saved Searches.

3. Tap the category (Classifieds).

4. Tap Create New Saved Search.

5. Fill in prompts. This includes keywords, price range, location, etc.

6. Tap Save.

7. Tap Add to Home Screen to have search appear when you open the app.

8. Tap Alerts toggle. 

9. Select Alert Frequency.

10. Tap Run Search.

Notifications for price drop/expiring listings

If you’ve already found the item you want, but the price is a little more than you’re willing to pay, we’ll keep tabs on the listing for you. If the price drops, we’ll send you an email. In just a few taps, the best deals will find you.

1. From the home screen, tap on the hamburger menu.

2. Tap Favorites.

3. Select the listing you want alerts for.

4. Tap Price Drop and/or Expiring Soon toggle.

Messages

Ready to buy? Use Messages, our feature that allows buyers and sellers to communicate without sharing personal phone numbers and emails. If the listing has our paper airplane icon, simply tap it to open Messages and start making your deal. That’s it. Easy peasy. We even have pre-written questions and responses to choose from, or you can write your own. You’ll be notified as soon as you get a response. 

With all the notifications turned on, you can just sit back and sip your soda. You are officially a savvy shopper. A dedicated dealmaker. Search for your next bargain on KSL Classifieds — ‘cause you’re clever like that.
