You’ll now need to verify your phone number to:

• See a seller's phone numbers on listings.

• Use text or call as a contact method on your own listings.

Scammers rely on quickly changing phone numbers to send spam messages. Phone verification makes that significantly harder by tying every account to a real, reachable phone number or Identity Verification software (powered by Plaid).

However, without verification, you won't be able to:
