About Summer Fest 2024

Summer Fest is sponsored by Marine Products, Salt Lake City’s water sports pro shop since 1971, with a showroom located two blocks west of I-15 on 1700 South. You can also check out their inventory of new and previously owned watercraft on KSL Classifieds.

“The boating community is so much more than owning a boat and boating,” said Zach White, director of marketing and retail at Marine Products. And when you come to Summer Fest, you’re instantly a part of that community.

Come build connections with other water sports fans, see the newest gear and watercraft  innovations, and enjoy special promotions and discounts you won’t find anywhere else.

You can test out the latest equipment on the reservoir and attend interactive workshops and demos from industry experts. You can even meet the athletes and other water sports influencers.

When you're done geeking out over V-drive inboards and wake plates, partake of the sweet sounds of musical guests Jennifer Paige, whose song “Crush” topped the international music charts in 1998, and local singer-songwriters Brenn Hill and Kaden Miner.

About the 2024 Pro Wakeboard Tour at Jordanelle

The tour kicked off in Indiana and ends in Tennessee, with stops in Utah and Florida along the way. Fans across the country are watching as 2023 wakeboarding champion Tyler Higham, of California, and wakesurfing champion Jett Lambert, of Florida, take to the water to defend their titles.

Higham comes out of the Indianapolis event in fourth place in the overall tour, chasing Indiana’s Thomas Herman in the No. 1 spot, followed by Japan’s Shota Tezuka and Luca Kidd of Great Britain.

On the wake surfing side, Lambert is holding onto first place, currently with a 10-point lead over Robert McClelland of Florida.

After scores are tallied at Jordanelle, the athletes will add to their cumulative scores at a third event in Groveland, Florida, Aug. 7-8. The tour will wrap up with a final event in Lenoir City, Tennessee, on Aug. 17, where the 2024 overall champions will be named.
