316 years old . Dated outside & inside. 1704.....this beautiful historic piece is beautifully made, held together with old square nails, wooden plugs and fancy dove tail work , it still has a solid frame with a shelf inside , solid top, hand hammered key hole and cool joints and still has its hand hammer barrel groove hinges, it’s seen a lot of years and has had a few repairs. VERIFICATION done -. (real) antique not a reproduction, there is also has a signature and date hidden inside under the shelf.
