- HDPE plastic drums (barrels), USED ONCE for commercial food production.
- 55 gallon capacity; approx. 36" H x 23" W; NO OTHER SIZES AVAILABLE.
- All have 2 bungholes/ports, one fine-pitch-thread & one coarse-pitch-thread.
- SOLID TOP TYPE ONLY: lid is not fully removable; white or blue.
- Most missing at least one bung/plug (replacements available for $4 each).
- Drums held mineral & cooking oil, molasses, distilled spirits, vinegar, industrial cleaning solutions, beverage flavoring, and various other food/beverage production materials.
- Emptied, although some may have small amounts of remnant material.
- Food Grade: Held ingredients that are safe for humans and animals to ingest. Suitable for potable water storage.
- Chemical Grade: Held materials that are unsafe for humans and animals to ingest. Not suitable for potable water storage.
- Potable water use requires AT LEAST 1 rinse with soap/water; ask for details.
