This is a well built rocket stove. Works great with all kinds of wood in small amounts. Puts off plenty of heat for cooking. I have built plenty of these and they work great. Survival, preparedness, camping or backyard fun with the family. Sorry about the price but if you know anything about steel the prices are higher than the gas prices are..
