These are 100% high-density industrial-grade steel, not cast iron. The 45 lb plates by themselves are less than 1/2 as thick as the Barbell Standard cast iron plates - see one of the pictures for details. We've designed these plates to be as thin or thinner than anything in the industry. On a regular 7ft Olympic barbell you can fit over 1600 lbs!

Not only have these been calibrated to be within only 10 grams of stated weight, we produced these with our exclusive Wasatch Canyon Handle which is a gap style handle allowing you to easily pick these plates up from lying flat on the floor as well as slide them on and off your barbell

Comparative retail on plates like these at $900. We are offering these for $250 off for $649 for the complete $265 lb set. This includes one pair of each size 45, 35, 25, two sets of tens beneficial for incremental loading plus a pair of 5 and 2.5 lb plates.

We paid special attention to detail with these plates offering the same quality as anything you can find, then modified the design so they're more functional and with our wholesale style sales model you still get them for less!

The 265 lb set is the most popular variation but we do sell them in other groupings as well.
