U36B engine has rare white side lettering "Seaboard Coast Line" on engine frames, caboose with red side lanterns & very bight colorful historical graphics on each of the 13 first colony cars. Background items/buildings are not included in this sale.
Each car in the series salutes one of the original states. The markings include the state flag, a map of the state and data regarding the state's entry into the Union, Also the state's motto. The cars feature sliding opening doors, remote control couplers, needlepoint metal wheels and axels for easy running. Original owner. Purchased new in SLC 1976.. Smoke Free. Adult owned. Light gentle use.
This is a clean full excellant set. It is one of those iconic sets you have always wanted but hard to find in this condition. This is unusual, limited run item and A LOT of vintage train for the money than you will be proud of. Marx backdrop tinplate train station in picture is not included in sale but available separately(sold it).
