Lionel Trains 2 car B&O Budd diesel Commuter Car Set. Catalogued 1977. This is the companion set to the 3 car Service Station Special set. The commuter car is powered- the baggage is not- opposite of the SS Set which has the baggage powered. All are illuminated. So you have the potential for a 5 car commuter train if you purchased both sets. Background items are not included in this sale.

Brite silver metallic bodies with Authentic B&O markings. Diecast trucks with operating couplers both ends. Each car is 16 1/2" long with lighted passenger silluotte. This is a good looking set and is basically a redo of the 1950's postwar version but much less expensive to acquire and enjoy. It has run a couple of laps around my layout in the late 1970's then put away in clean dry climate controlled storage for the past 45 years.

Runs great and it is scale proportioned model of the real thing. I am the original owner and purchased it new in SLC. Not many were sold here so they are rare. Adult owned and operated. Smoke free.
