These are the 4 different varieties of Lincoln cents minted in 2009. I got these uncirculated coins for FREE from a coin subscription service.
There is someone trying to sell a single one of these for multiple hundreds of dollars. Please do not EVER buy any coins that look like pocket change because the person says they are rare. Before you spend any money, look them up on eBay or just search Google. Get the information you need before you make a purchase.
Best rule: if it's very expensive DO NOT BUY UNLESS IT IS CERTIFIED!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. If someone believes they have a coin that is worth hundreds or thousands of dollars yet they're not willing to spend the $30 or $40 to have it certified, IT IS A SCAM!
There are a lot of people selling coins for ridiculous prices, please do not be taken in. Even errors are not that rare especially the apparent double dies. They are usually machine doubling which is not worth much at all.
UPDATE: I just got a second set of these 2009 Lincoln cents for FREE from Littleton Coin company. Please do not get ripped off.
I have to put a price on these so I'm going to set it at $10 for all four, mostly I wanted to inform anyone who's willing to read this far not to be ripped off. I have been a numismatist (professional coin collector) since 1963. If you have questions on any coin for sale on ksl.com, please feel free to message me and I will tell you the real deal and provide advice at no charge.
