10,600 flat washers were used to create this fantasy creature, starting at the tail, each washer was welded one by one. There was no plan when I started this piece, with 1500 hours, I was glad to finish it. This Dragon took first place in two metal divisions, and "Best of Show" at the Utah State Fair. It is 57" high, 48" wide, and 62" long. The wings are removeable for travel. The eyes are custom glass.
