We’ve used this for a few sets of chicks and it’s worked great. There are two nesting boxes where mama hen would keep her babies. We’d put food and water in containers in the middle and have small ramps for the chicks to walk down from the nesting box (see last photo). Once they got a little bigger, we’d open the main ramp area so they could go down the long ramp. We put a small fence around the bottom since we didn’t want them to free range (we have too many hawks). We were able to use this as a temporary coop while they grew.
