ZelleCustom built Scott Addict R4 full carbon flat-bar road bike.
The Addict R4 is a high end / ultra-lightweight road racing frameset weighing less than 1000 grams. Which is about as light as a road bike frame can get.
This one was purpose built last year with a new Shimano Tiagra 10 speed flat bar / hybrid groupset with Ultegra brake calipers and crankset. The cassette and chain were installed new last year with the Tiagra group as well as all of the cables and housings, handlebar, stem and ergonomic grips.
And this is not a daily driver... so the mileage is super low.
(The R4 was Scott's top of the line road racing frame when new in '08/09. $3600 new from the bike shop--built up as a typical road bike with full Ultegra--and very highly reviewed.)

The wheels are Mavic Ksyrium Elites--with Tannus run-flat / tubeless tires. (Impossible to get a flat with these tires... so you can ride without extra tubes, without C02 cartridges, without tools, etc.) These are easy to replace if you prefer a typical tube / tire set up.
As currently built this bike weighs only 17.4 lbs... which is incredibly light. Probably the lightest hybrid / flat bar road bike on KSL. (A typical modern hybrid bike weighs more like 27 lbs. But if you CAN manage to find a full carbon hybrid for sale... (like a Sirrus X 5.0 ), the weight is closer to 24 lbs @ $2250 new. This bike is 7 lbs lighter than that... which is 27%... which is a lot. For $3000 you an get a 20 lb Sirrus Carbon 6.0... but this bike is still 2.5 lbs lighter than that.)
And that's ultimately why I built this bike up to begin with... to have a fast, light, flat bar road bike... because I couldn't find one for sale anywhere--new or used. And I didn't always want to ride or take my $8000, 15 lb road bike with me when and wherever I traveled... but I always bring a bike no matter where I go (by car).
Why does weight matter? Speed. The lighter the bike the faster you can ride with less effort... particularly on hills or in the canyons. A ligher bike is also just easier to manage... whether that be loading it on a bike rack, hanging it on hooks from a garage ceiling, or carrying it up stairs to an apartment--or loading in and out of the back of a car. You can easily carry this bike with one hand... that's how light it is.
Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost + Selle Italia XO Trans Am saddle. Sigma computer.
Size-wise, this is a 52cm frameset... which is generally ideal for riders in the 5'4" to 5'9" range.
Current build only has a couple of hundred miles on it at most. Probably closer to 100.
Will include some newer Look Keo pedals for free... or some Shimano M324 SPD flip/flops (clip in one one side / flat platforms on the other) for $25.
Reply with any questions. I'm in the 9th and 9th area.
