Lionel Trains Compatible Williams Green GG1 Electric Rectifier Locomotive Pennsylvania 5 Stripe Gold. This is a remarkable engine. It was carefully researched before going into production. The Color is "Brunswick Green"- a very dark green that is almost black. Very accurate. Distinctively Pennsylvania. In real life the engine was "electric", not steam or diesel. Power was captured from overhead pantagraphs. Polution free-very reliable .

This is a beauty because of it's sturdy heavy diecast metal body, rounded streamlined shape, and distinctive operating pantagraphs overhead. The engine has dual 6 wheel drive wheel sets and can pull anything you put behind it. It is rare. There is nothing like it. It looks amazing with lighted Pennsylvania extruded metal "chrome" plated cars behind it. The "Chrome" cars are no longer in production so they are also highly desireable.The cars are illuminated with passenger figures in the windows. Cars have operating coupler both ends except the observation car. Cars would be a separate transaction.

I am the original owner- purchased new in SLC.. Everything looks like new. It has been adult owned and lightly operated and then reboxed in the original factory packaging in a smoke free home. It has operating couplers both ends of the engine, lighted cab and FNR operation. It can pull heavy metal passenger cars with ease and looks amazing doing so.
