Forma Scientific - Model 8516, Ultra cold (ULT) freezer, -80C Rating, 120V 15.5A

This is a scientific / medical freezer. It works in every way, except it won't go down to the rated temperature. It get's down to around freezing. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, it's been this way since I purchased it. (I paid $1200 last year) You could be getting a huge win: Maybe I just don't know how to use it correctly or maybe it just needs refridgerant, on the other hand maybe something serious is wrong with it. It it's current state maybe it would make a good super efficent refrigerator (the insulation on it is really thick).
