I have charger the Batteries and they hold a charge, but I don't know for how long, since I don't operate it. BECAUSE YOU WILL BE BUYING NEW BATTERIES I HAVE DROP THER PRICE TO $700. Bought in 2011 and used to June 2014. That is when it was put into storage. Everything seems to work just like new. Look on google to see what type of chair it is.
