Do you sew elastic into seams to stretch? That's the slow, tedious, and bulky way! It's hard to get desired consistency.
This is much better! ... and in many ways.
This elastic thread is much lower bulk than sewing elastic into a seam which particularly matters for lingerie because you won't feel it and seams would hardly show even under lightweight garments like yoga pants yet stiching can be adjusted for stronger elastic pull for waist bands and cuffs in outer garments.
Try this for FREE to see how you like it before you decide to purchase or not with no commitment. I want you to see how easy this works and with making much better stretchy seams. I have some in smaller Cones for your testing.
Instead of sewing in bulky elastic, simply load your serger up with elastic thread! Then, make your stretch seams at high speed without the bulk and guessing at the tension of the elastic by inconsistent hand feel. Simply adjust your serger settings for consistent elastic pull. Don't get variability in streach. Simply use your machine settings for consistency.
Your garments will have soft and stretchy seams.
Pictured: Large stock of elastic thread.
Other serger thread types available: high quality fine thread in many colors.
Another is: Authentic Levi's brand thread, which is the one thing that counterfeiters are unable to copy. That's on purpose, and thread manufacturers don't and won't make an exact match. But, this thread is actual old stock from The Levi's factory. I won't sell to counterfeiters and will sell only for those who repair or tailor vintage high value Levi's or make their own apparel without forging Levi's trademark. Inquire.
See my other items. I have vintage mother of pearl buttons to add to your work as a special touch to stand out compared ordinary mass produced clothing or even to get that effect simply by replacing cheap looking plastic buttons by hand sewing them in as an easy starter project.
*Text me first: (KSL as the subject and your name, please), and I will reply that your call is enabled. (I had to turn off my number to all except contacts due to robocallers, now 50 a day and increasing!) I do want to enable your call.
