Zelle56cm Trek Project One Madone 5.9 for sale.
If you're not familiar, Project One bikes are custom ordered through Trek with custom paint and components. Not always completely "one of a kind"... but pretty close. I've certainly never seen another Trek out there exactly like this one. You can't really see it in photos but the paint work is beautiful and complex and changes in different light and at different angles. Fades from a metallic copper to dark purple to cobalt blue to charcoal / black... like a crow's wing in sunlight... or an oil slick. (I think the cool kids call it something like a chameleon fade... or chromalusion.) There's also what appears to be the profile of a mountain range in the background (perhaps because this is a lightweight climbing bike)... and some wispy clouds here and there. But it's very subtle.
Very light bike. Before upgrading the wheels, the bike weighed right at 16 lbs. (The OCLV110 carbon frameset only weighs about 1000 grams.) The wheels added a little weight in exchange for being much more aero... which makes it a little slower on the climbs but faster on the descents--and faster on the flats. Under full power, with even a slight tail wind, this thing feels like a guided missile.
Shifts and brakes pretty much perfectly. The Dura Ace components are the best you can buy and are bulletproof pretty much for life.
Reply with any questions or to set up a test ride. I'm in the 9th and 9th area of SLC.
