Because genuine Levi's is often targeted by counterfeiters, like Rolex, their means of detection of counterfeiting is a closely guarded means consisting of having exclusively the distinctive Levi's thread.

Have you noticed that there is no close match of Levi's thread in any fabric store?

I know. I tried. It was probably a mistake that Levi's auctioned everything when they closed their factory. They should have destroyed their thread or taken it overseas in their move. I purchased it!

You can't purchase it from Levi's! I have THE genuine authentic Levi's thread from their United States factory closure. You can't get it elsewhere!

Searching for Levi's thread competitors I found none, but there is thread for generic jeans on Amazon. One review says:

"It's pretty close to the Levi's thread color, but probably closer to Wrangler"

It's more than just a thread color difference. Yes, counterfeiting Levi's IS a thing. Our United States currency is printed on special paper. Among a great many other things, it has tiny red and blue fibers in the paper. Look close and see. Think you can purchase any of that paper anywhere? Of course not!

Why can't you purchase authentic Levi's thread anywhere? (Just try to find it anywhere else!) Because it would enable defeating counterfeiting detection!

But, you can purchase genuine Levi's thread from me, and I got it from THE Levi's factory, so it is real. More than a match. It is actually Levi's!
