CABINS Each cabin is individually handcrafted and can be customized; unique in our day, authentic of times past. The cabins are built from whole logs (10-12”). The logs have been glued and fastened together with log screws, including steel bar supports on the corners, with Log Jam heavy duty foam and chinking applied between each log.

Shingles are sawn on a 1911 shingle saw and applied with screws and adhesive on top of a heavy moisture barrier fabric. Heavy ¼ inch pane glass windows. All lumber is fastened with screws. All lumber and shingles are milled on site. Logs come off local mountains.

Cabin and porch are built as a single unit, secured to a log base and can be transported. Cabins are built at our shop then transported; however, if you are in southern Utah and want a larger cabin, we might be able to do on-site builds. All wood is oil treated inside and out. We can run basic wiring and do insulation but we don’t offer fireplaces, electrical, or plumbing. Those would need to be hired out, if desired. They don’t transport well with fireplaces. We can do wood stoves with rock below & behind, and a hole cutout through the back wall.
