ZelleI have my Grandfather's collection of Eisenhower Dollar coins. Each is in better than circulated condition, many AU. Each is in a Numis Square Coin Tube. All are separated by year and mint mark as well as type. The set is meant to be sold as a whole and not to be picked through. Included in this collection are many of the very valuable and sought after 1972 Type 1 and Type 3 varieties. There are no 1973 or 1973-D coins as these were part of a special mint set. Below is the inventory of all the coins he had: 1971--86 1971-D--300 1972 Type 1--82 1972 Type 3--62 1972-D--291 1974--145 1974-D--128 1976 Type 1--10 1976 Type 2--757 1976-D Type 1--139 1976-D Type 2--280 1977--200 1977-D--68 1978--193 1978-D--72
Total face value is $2813.00 The whole set and the coin tubes are $5000.00. That is less than $0.78 over face value for each coin. Any online search will show poor quality highly circulated Eisenhower coins going for 2-4 dollars each. Also, the coin shops around Utah county and Salt Lake Area are over $0.80 over face value at the cheapest. This is a collection many years in the making and only the best were kept by my Grandfather.
