This beautiful wooden bed was made in China more than 100 years ago. These kinds of beds are not used anymore in China, and hence are very rare. They cost a lot when they were made, so the average family could not afford such a bed. This particular bed has historical interest because in addition to the intricate bird and flower carvings and paintings that decorate it, there are also paintings and carvings of the Chinese Imperial troops battling Republic of China troops in the 1911-1912 period when the last emperor of China was overthrown. I purchased this bed in China 20 years ago. I no longer have room for it in my home so I am selling it. Compare my price to what is being asked by sellers on eBay -- this bed is being sold at significant discount from its market value.
