Jupiter Jsp1000 Qualifier Fiberglass Sousaphone With Hard Case. This is a well used tuba that we received as you see it in the photos. it has surface marks, scratches, dings, and is missing one of the valve buttons. The valves all seem to move smoothly, but could probably use some grease. There is one spot on the fiberglass neck section that has some cracking in the fiberglass. It it's still solid and firm when you push on it near the cracks making it seems as though it might just be the outside, but we can't see that far inside to tell if it passes all the way through (maybe if you had a borescope you could tell). I would imagine it would be a very minor fiberglass repair either way. Aside from the marks and dings, it seems to be in good overall condition. Because of the nature, we're selling it as-is for cheap. These are usually $5500-6000. This is your chance to save big-time if you need a practice horn, or as a refurb project. It comes with everything shown. This is your chance to save big-time so don't miss out!!
