Its also used in the military on navy ships, oil industry on tankers and drilling platforms.
There are a few advantages over traditional epoxy or polyaspartic.
- It is easier to clean
- Silicone is part of the formula, so stains, dirt oil etc are easy to wipe off.
- More salt and chemical resistance.
- with other coatings road salt can damage them this can also be used in the ocean, so salt is no problem, also with use in the oil industry fuel and chemicals are a breeze
- Cheaper and easier Long term maintenance.
- All coatings wear over time, no matter how much money you spend! Eventually they need to be replaced. This means grinding back to concrete and starting over. This is because they can't be coated over once cured.
- NOT with PSX, It has an infinite recoat life. This means many years down the road when it starts looking Beat up, you can just add another clear coat, and POOF your floor looks new again for a fraction of the price.
- Anti-Slip -We are able to use an easy to clean, barefoot friendly anti-Slip. So you don't fall when wet, it's designed for use around pools.
- with other systems they have to use silica sand to broadcast on top of the coating. This creates a very rough hard to clean surface.
- Anti scratch and Wear additive.
- We add in Nano aluminum oxide. This is a very fine, extremely hard compound. It's so small you can't see it, but it distributes throughout the coating to create a much more scratch and wear resistant system.
