In the pursuit of recreating his tone, I purchased the TC Electronic G Major 2 – an modern and improved version of the TC Electronic G-Force that Dave Murray uses. I was blown away by the quality of the various affects available and the degree to which I could adjust each effect to dial in some of his most iconic tones. I don’t sell out stadiums like Dave Murray does – fact is, this multi-effects unit has never left my home office, since I purchased it. I never did put in the time to learn to play well enough to take advantage of such excellent PRO EQUIPMENT, although I did enjoy every minute I got to play through it.
