Alvarez Guitars are a great alternative to way more expensive brands on the market. Looked at similar models and had to guess since Korean stuff started to flood the market with less expensive units in the mid to late 80's. No markings as to where it was made but probably Korea. This just a great instrument that went un-played most of it's life with a few blemishes from time since purchased used. Has two missing string, but why would you want someone else's strings with skin cells. so replace them with new ones right away. One bridge peg has been replaced with new similar. One tuning peg collar and top was replaced with one similar (headstock front) as era parts are not available anymore. See pics . Case is a generic but made in Canada which is common for Gibson or Fender to utilize on their stuff. Due to condition of guitar and case included, it is below value so grab it while you can.
