Grain-fed beef (97% of grocery store meat is grain-fed) may grade higher than grass-fed, but it is high in Omega-6 fatty acids, which makes it unhealthy and inflammatory when eaten. True grass-fed and finished beef is more balanced in its Omega 6:3 ratio, but it is older, leaner, with less flavor, and more tough.
