CURRIER AND IVES "AMERICANA PLATE SERIES" - 8 PLATES IN THIS SET. THE TITLE OF EACH SCENE IS INDICATED ON THE BACK OF EACH PLATE.

This 8 piece set of Currier & Ives Collector's plates was displayed on my Mother's diningroom hutch for as far back as I can remember. I was born in 1952 so I'm guessing these are likely from the 1950's or early 1960's. These plates are decorative in nature, and to my knowledge, have never been used to serve food on. They were strictly for display only. There are no chips, cracks or other defects. They are all in excellent condition but will be sold "AS IS".
