VenmoThis mandolin has served me well for years. As the Quartz model has been discontinued, these mandolins are becoming increasingly hard to come by. This particular model has a distinct "K"-style body shape, and unique F-style sound holes. The tone is nicely rounded, it has excellent sustain, and there's plenty of punch and projection, especially if you dig in. It's really a versatile instrument, whether you're playing bluegrass, celtic, old time, classical, jazz, etc. Furthermore, the wider nut makes this a remarkably comfortable instrument to play.
There are a couple very small marks on the headstock (visible in the pictures), otherwise I would have listed this instrument's quality as "Excellent" without hesitation.
Comes with original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity, signed by the luthiers.
