VenmoVintage Kamaka Pineapple Ukulele - Gold Label (1954-1969) acquired in 1964. HP-1 soprano size, made in Hawaii of beautiful koa wood. The pineapple body yields a warmer and more resonant sound. Completely refurbished by Kamaka in 2024, regluing the top, back, neck, fingerboard, and bridge, as well as refinishing and adding new strings. Since many collectors wish to retain the original tuners, Kamaka did not switch out the plastic button tuners. Therefore, even though there is some slippage in at least one string (common in vintage instruments) we likewise did not replace the tuners. The new owner may wish to remedy this with the existing tuners, or opt to retrofit them with Gotoh UPT (planetary) tuners. Includes a brown hard case.
