VenmoMy neighbor's recently deceased husband had... well... let's just be honest here... had a hand plane fetish.
These pics show some of them... but definitely not all. (There could easily be twice this many once we find them all.)
Some he bought in very good / restored condition already... some he bought in average to rough condition and disassembled and restored himself. And some are brand new, in the box, never used.
This was just a hobby... he never sold any... he just kept adding to the collection over the years.
I'm helping his wife figure out what these and his other woodworking tools are worth and getting the sold.
If you have an interest in these types of things--or a fetish of your own--hit me up let me know what you're looking for and we'll go from there.
Prices will vary... $100 is just a number to plug in for the listing. Some may be less than that... some will definitely be more. But if you are reading this ad it is very likely that you know more about these and their values than we do. But we're not dummies. We're not gonna give 'em away. :)
Will sell individually or would be open to selling all of them as a set... including all of the spare blades and other odds and ends / spare parts we can round up that go the them (extra blades, etc).
There is probably no plane type that the collection doesn't have at least one of... inluding block planes, router and jointer planes, spokeshaves, etc.
Prefer to sell the entire lot together but if I can't find a buyer for all of them (at the right price) I'll consider offers on individual tools.
I've checked prices for a lot of this stuff on eBay and will likely sell the more expensive pieces there. (Specifically the Lie Nielsen planes and some of the more rare Stanley / Bedrock / Bailey and Millers Falls planes.) So... there won't be any "steals" here... but there will be some reasonable "deals".
Hit me up and let me know what you're looking for or if you see something in the pics that interests you. There is MORE... this is just the main stuff.
Here's a pretty comprehensive list of what is currently available:
Stanley (all vintage) No. 20, No. 39 (3/4" and 1/4"), No 78 (2 of them), and one that has no visible # on it.
Bailey (all vintage) No. 3, No. 4 (8 of them--three of them are Sweethearts... one of those is corrugated), No. 4 1/2 (2 of them) No. 5 (2 of them--one is a Sweetheart... the other is corrugated), No. 5 1/2, No. 7
Bedrock (all vintage) No. 603 and No. 606
Miller Falls (Miller Falls (all vintage): (1) No. 714 and (4) No. 709's.

Veritas (all new in box) small plow plane (1 leftt, 1 right), routher plane (and assorted blades), shoulder plane, No. 5 1/4 W bench plane, and a brand new Honing Guide kit. (Since these are all new in box you can find specs on them at Lee Valley Tools where they were purchased; pricing will be similar to Lee Valley with some discount, plus no tax, no shipping.)
Lie Nielsen - No. 4, No. 7, No. 9 1/2, No. 62, No. 610 (new in box) and large shoulder plane (new in box),
We're in the 9th & 9th area of SLC.
