The 336781 Chevy big block heads, also known as 781 heads, were used on a variety of 454ci engines, primarily from 1973 through 1985. These are considered "large oval port" and were equipped with standard 2.06-inch intake and 1.72-inch exhaust valves and open combustion chambers. They are popular for high-performance street and racing applications due to their strong performance potential.
