This is a training AED simulator with remote control that allows students to become comfortable with using an AED defibrillator. You can’t actually shock or analyze a heart with it. It has a remote control that a trainer can push to run scenarios that the trainee has to think through. It has several scenarios pre-programmed, as well as some of your own you can program to simulate a real experience so they know what to do in an emergency.
It has a voice system, just like real AEDs, that takes you through the motions of turning on the AED, connecting the pads to it and the patient, and listening to the voice commands as it prompts you for other actions such as analyzing or pressing the shock button. It optinally prompts the student to check pulse and go through CPR.
It uses regular D batteries and the remote control uses AAA.
